Local Government Professionals Australia NSW’s awards recognise outstanding achievement and innovation in local government

The NSW Local Government Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements while promoting innovation and continuous improvement within NSW local government. Through this platform LG Professionals demonstrates the excellent work being undertaken by our members and NSW councils, showcasing it throughout the state as well as nationally.

Congratulations to Tweed Shire Council for winning the Special Project Initiative award. Tweed Shire Council was the winner in the subcategory – population under 100,000 for their Tweed Emergency Dashboard.

Congratulations to Cessnock City Council for winning the Service Delivery Initiative award. Cessnock City Council was the winner in the subcategory – population under 60,000 for their Service Delivery Initiative.

Congratulations Walgett Shire Council for winning the Risk Management award for their Taking the office of the Road program.

Congratulations to Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and Edward River Council on winning the Asset Management and Infrastructure Initiatives award. Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s Port Macquarie Airport Terminal Building project took out the win in the projects over $1.5 million subcategory and Edward River Council’s Napier Street Revitalisation was the winner for the projects under $1.5 million subcategory.

Congratulations to this Community Partnerships and Collaboration award winner!  Eurobodalla Shire Council for their Eurobodalla Employment Revolution (population under 60,000)
